Hello world for the 3rd Time!
By Todd Earwood on May 14, 2007 in
No, this isn’t my first blog post. It’s actually the first post on my third round of personal blogging. I had to dig a little, but my first post was entitled “Maiden Voyage” written while visiting Oxford University on June 25, 2003. Like first tries at most things… kickstarting the momentum is more important than the execution.
Why have I not maintained a personal blog? Well, as I’ve said in several public speaking events on this topic, I’ve blogged in the past for the wrong reasons. Honestly, my first two attempts were for personal pontification and to make money. Neither of those are great reasons to blog (will explain in a later post), but sharing ideas is a great reason and that’s my goal.
So what were my first words of wisdom? I knew you’d ask. Well, I’m not too ashamed I was right about one out of two. You see this whole “blog thing” is great for information and my writing once a blue moon can be entertaining. Here’s hoping three’s a charm!
first blog hello world miscellaneous oxford public speakingThis tool will hopefully be something that is both informative and entertaining. Although I am unsure of the end result of this tool and its parts, it could prove to be useful. - Todd (06/25/03)
