The majority of my connections on LinkedIn are outside of Louisville, KY, where I reside. Since I’ve been an open networker, I’ve received many invitations to connect around the world. Also, I’ll admit Louisville isn’t the home to most early adopters of web apps. This doesn’t make me like Louisville or LinkedIn any less.
But last week, I was asked by Louisville LinkedIn user to connect him with another Louisville LinkedIn user about a job. While this may regularly happen in other markets, it was nice to see the power of online networking has made it to good ol’ Kentucky.
