I first saw this video on Jeff Jarvis’ PrezVid.com and found out quickly it was stunt to drive traffic to BarelyPolitical.com. A catchy song about a girl having a crush on Obama. It’s a smart stunt because Obama’s always a hot topic and guys like girls on videos. Although I can’t see exactly what they intend to do with the site (other than sell t-shirts), but it reminds me of the JibJab phenomenon. Previously you made someone dress up as a chicken on the sidewalk to get customers, today you create a video.
