Will - I see nothing wrong with a little self-promotion and maybe things have changed since Guy and I talked (30 days ago). I think the key thing I learned from our talk is how serious he is about Truemors. My next video clip shows his dedication to the site.

Dan,

Guy was a bit loose in describing what posts are allowed to stay up on Truemors.

The general rule is: if it is not a truemor, it is removed. (You'll have to go to the site to see a description of a truemors.)

If a site promotes itself by posting something which fits the description of a truemor, that posting is likely to stay up. If it simply says "go visit this site," it is sure to be removed.

Go visit Truemors to see for yourself. You will probably find few, if any, posts that are simply self-promotion.

Its too bad that if his site ever grows, these words would come back to haunt him. Of course he's accepting whatever he can get right now for a truemor, but if people were legitimately using his site, they wouldn't stand for that kind of "rumor-like" promotion.
